YEAAAHHHH We love a Convention!
After working at a few different conventions last year we realised two things - it's bloody hard work and it's really hard to organise a good one!
With a shop to run as well and Hannah leaving the country, we decided to focus on two main events this year - and Tattoo Tea Party is one of them. We had such a BLAST last year - it's great to have something so amazing going on in our town!
This year it's on the 4th and 5th of March. Tickets are £16 for the day or £30 for the weekend. (Thats in advance - you can buy them here).
If you've never been to a Tattoo Convention before we HIGHLY recommend this one. Tattoo Tea Party always put on loads of entertainment throughout the day for you to enjoy, as well as tons of amazing Artists.
If you are looking for a Tattoo it's an opportunity to get something from Artists that usually have extremely long waiting lists or that are based too far away for you to get to usually. Plus you get to watch some INCREDIBLE work being made.
Alternatively, if you aren't up for getting inked then there are bands, entertainers, bumper cars, exhibitions and tons of traders. We will be there of course selling awesome art and there are always loads of cool clothing brands such as RSI Apparel. Another favourite is Cranfields Curiosity Cabinet who have an incredible collection of Taxidermy items and general awesome homeware that you'd struggle to find anywhere else.
Next week we will let you know about Artists we are most excited about seeing there - Would be good to hear your ideas, do you know anyone going that we should check out? Just leave us a comment below.
